How to play

You can play Floginim in many different ways. Play alone to beat the high scores, or play against others in a network game. Here below will the game settings be explained.

This is the first page. Here you add the players that will play on this computer.

  1. When you create a player you may change the color on the ball. Use the sliders to change the colors.
  2. Write the player name here and click on "Add" to add the player.
  3. This is the list with all players.

Here in page two you manage which levels that will be played.

  1. In this list will you see all available levels. Select the levels you want to play and click on "Add".
  2. The levels you have selected are show in this list. You may change the order or delete levels. If you want to save this list as a course, click on "Save course".
  3. If you want a random course you might use this function. Select the number of levels and click on Go.
  4. In this menu will you find courses. When you play a course will the best result be saved in high score.

If you will play a network game you find more settings on page 3. You will be a server or a client (1). Normally will port 49 732 be used, but you may change this (3).

Server
If you are a server will you decide which levels will be included in the game. Click on OK to let others connect. Your address that is shown at the bottom on the page (4), should other players use to connect.

Client
If you are a client will the levels you have selected be ignored. Write the address to the server (2) and click OK to connect. The server will transfer levels that you don't have.

This is how it looks like if you are a server. In the upper list is the players, in the lower is the computers that are connected (several players can play on the same computer with the same session of Floginim). Click on Start to play.

Here is two players running the game. Move the mouse to set the direction. To putt, hold down the mouse button. The putt will be harder if you hold down the button a long time. But watch out! If you shoot hard will the precision be bad. If you play in a network game can you chat with your opponents.
